I have found another British Pathe film with a collection of gun camera footage from USAAF single seat fighters. The footage is from different sorties but again, is all from the 6th June 1944. The title is &#039;<a href="http://www.britishpathe.com/video/viii-fighter-command-attacking-ground-targets" target="_blank" class="externalLink" rel="nofollow"><span style="text-decoration: underline">VIII Fighter Command Attacking Ground Targets</span></a>&#039; (Film ID #1891.01). The footage runs for 8 minutes and 27 seconds, and the times in and out for each segment are set out in the table...<br />

I came across this Mustang today - invasion striped with what appears to be a Russian name on the nose:<br />

I have found a British Pathe film with an unusually large collection of gun camera footage from USAAF single seat fighters. The footage is from different sorties but all from the 6th June 1944. The title is &#039;<a href="http://www.britishpathe.com/video/aerial-warfare-air-to-ground-footage/" target="_blank" class="externalLink" rel="nofollow"><span style="text-decoration: underline">Aerial Warfare Air to Ground Footage</span></a>&#039; and numbered 2137.10 in their database.<br />

The footage lasts 11 minutes and 3 seconds, so I&#039;ll do up a table in my next post showing the time marks...<br />

While searching for a a P-38 Lightning crash site down in the <b>Vindefontaine/Pretot Sainte Suzanne</b> area last night on the NCAP site, I had a look at three frames from sortie <b>NCAP_ACIU_US30_4073</b> flown on the 6th June 1944:<br />
