British Pathe already had a channel on Youtube, but it seems they have just uploaded most of the WW2 footage that is also on their website.

But here's why this is worth mentioning this:
the quality of the footage is generally much better.

However, for stills you still need their website.

    Hi Niels,

I thought they reduced the number of stills which you can view a month or so back - with a limit of 2 minutes worth, but just checking this now, it appears to be unlimited again. :D

    Regards,

    Pat and Niels,
Another great resource on youtube is the stuff created by PhotosNormandie.
It has much of the same stuff you see on critical past or combat reels.
Pat I even saw the extended Isigny footage you were looking for there, but I dont know specificly what video it was in.
All of Photosnormandie stuff is found by searching f000001, f000002, all the way through f000280.
Just adding one number was the best way to make sure you see each of them.

    John
