    Hi Guys,
some questions around scale and syncronization of the different picture types.

I understand we have port (3xxx) and starboard (4xxx) frames with a scale of 1500. Has the scale a dimension like feet or meters? Same question for the 8xxx series.

Can we assume all the different types of pictures are taken at the very same moment and are showing the locations underneath and around the plane with different scales and angle like 3001, 4001, 8001, P001, S001?
    Means whenever we have 300n, we should find in most cases a 400n, a 800n, a P00n and a S00n?

    Hans

    Hi Hans,

I am not an expert in these matters, but I assume if a photograph is said to have a scale of 1500, the ratio is 1:1500 so, for example the F24 recon camera with a negative area of 5x5 inches would cover a square on the ground at the above ratio of 208.4 square yards - which seems very small

Anyone able to correct my maths

    Regards,

    Pat
