A Hello! to everybody here in this forum

A few introductory words from me to the fellow forum members.

My name is Hans. No surpize with the avatar name selected. That's for sure. However my avatar name continues with 2 x 2 letters which are the starting letters from my small home village in Rhineland-Palatine, Germany. My age, well I am closing in on the 60ties so I can claim 30+ years international working experience.

Personally I don't have any direct relation to the D-Day campaign or WWII but I can balance this with a very solid history knowledge. I had visited recently the NCAP website and found the link to this forum. Reading how certain photographs from unknown locations could now be tagged with a location name after a team effort and as such adding new insight into the event captured did raise my interest immediately. My believe is I can be a good contributor to such a team effort.

    Sincerely Hans

    Hi Hans,

    Welcome to the Forum.

Do you have specialist knowledge in aerial reconnaissance?

Regardless, please feel free to work on the remaining 'un-locatables' in the NCAP database. I am about to commence work on the 'lost souls' of Sortie US7GR_1730 if you wish to join the team there or open a new thread on another sortie.

    Regards,

    Pat
