    Hi All,

In this section of the Forum, members can request photos of grave markers from military cemeteries in Normandy. Please note this service is purely a 'notice board' effort - we depend on visitors to the cemeteries to take the photos for the requesting party.

If you are a visitor to any of the cemeteries, please read through the table below to see if your time at a particular cemetery might be extended by a few minutes in order to take a requested photo. Many families have never seen the grave marker of their veteran relative buried in Normandy and consequently your kind effort would be hugely appreciated by both the family and other Forum members.

Photos, preferably in portrait format, can be emailed to this Administrator at pat@whitebeamimages.ie. Images can be in any of the following formats: JPG, PNG, Canon RAW or TIFF. If you require your image to be credited to the photographer and/or watermarked, please include the wording required in your email.

If you would like to request a photograph of a grave marker, please open a new thread in this section of the Forum and I will add the name to the table below:

    <iframe src="http://www.normandy.whitebeamimages.ie/veterans_services/html_table_for_grave_marker_photo_requests.html" width="900px" height="235px"> frameborder="2" </iframe>

Apologies for having to clarify this, but for legal reasons I must:

Whitebeam Battlefield Research Forum, and any of its staff or agents cannot be responsible for injuries incurred or caused while taking photographs at any location in pursuit of any request whatsoever made as a result of this service. The service is offered free to those requesting photographs and no fees are payable in respect of any costs associated with the taking of photographs for this service.

    Thanks Patrick,

That is good to know and will save a lot of time if we receive a request from a 505 RCT family.

    Regards,

    Pat
