    Hi Jean Luc,

You are very welcome to the Forum and we hope you enjoy your experience here. Due to my poor grasp of the French language, can I ask you to translate your introduction above please?

    Thanks,

    Pat

    Pat: Jean Luc says:

    Hi All,

Sorry I dont speak English, nevertheless I'd like to tell you that I'm 58 and I live in Normandy. I also have a second house 6lm from St. Mere Eglise, I am passionate about the military history of the Battle of Normandy.

I do fairly detailed field research into battlefields of 1944

I will ask questions about research into veterans, certain items of uniform of the era. Some discoveries are quite surprising...

    Hello from France

(I think the "I will ask" means that during his research, he will tend to ask...rather than he intends in the future to ask US such questions etc...I love french!)
