Hi All, I have received an email from Kevin in NCAP today thanking us for the efforts we have put into finding their 'Unlocatable' frames and attaching a pdf of instructions by Sam as to how we can best forward future finds to them via a KML Google Earth file. So guys, anyone wishing to help with this work, please see below the standardised procedures which we will now adopt when locating 'unlocatable' frames: <iframe seamless="seamless" src="https://docs.google.com/viewer?embedded=true&url=http://www.normandy.whitebeamimages.ie/ncap/how_to_help/how_you_can_help_us.pdf" width="100%" height="800px"></iframe> Please note carefully the naming convention at point 5 above. Forum members undertaking this work can email me a copy of their KML file and I will upload it to a cloud storage area, where it will be available to other members and readers. Regards, Pat
Hello Pat As a reward for doing the work for them perhaps NCAP shouldn't charge anything to you/the group. regards Allan
Hi Allan, They have extended my subscription by 12 months as a 'thank you' and I have offered to send them up the seven frames from sortie US30/4378 in the '7x USAAF Reconnaissance Photos' thread on loan for scanning to add to their collection. As far as I can see, they have no frames from this sortie. Being a latter day civil servant and former dairy farmer, I know the value of good, solid PR - as in both 'public relations' and 'photo reconnaissance' Regards, Pat
