My names Matt Nott. I'm a living historian and historian with a special interest in ww2 especially the medical side.

I came across your forum whilst looking for images of boutteville in normandy. Two years ago the group I belonged to raised a memorial to the evacuation hospitals based in that village just after d-day.

One of the images I found on your forum shows the 91st and 128th evac hosptial in situ just after d-day. I had found many images of these but never an arial shot showing the layout. Filled a lot of gaps in the exact location and layout of them.

I might have access to pictures not published of the gliders that landed near there taken by one of the doctors in the hospital. Will have to look through my files.

If you look on face book for allied forces living history association you will see some of the activities I participate in.

    Regards

    Matt nott

    Hi Matt,

Good to have you with us here on Whitebeam.

I recall Amanda Ware contacting me back in 2011 about the work we had done on the old Battlebus Forum regarding the 128th Evacuation Hospital at La Cour Farm. I think she was from your group...?

Anyway, if we can help with a new project of yours, please let us know.

    Regards,

    Pat
