    Hi Guys,

I am hoping the Index Plot for Sortie 140/334, flown on the 17th June, might indicate cover over this crash site. The Plot is currently on order from NCAP for about a week now and should be down soon.

The track of the five known frames shown in the search result posted in post #32 of 'The Horsa at the crossroads of D115 & D913' thread, appears to indicate that the No.140 Squadron Mossie had just passed to the east of Sainte Marie du Mont...and possibly the field of interest here :s

    Regards,

    Pat

    Hi All,

I now have the Sortie Index Plot for sortie ACIU 140/334 flown on the 17th June.

The extract below shows part of Squadron Leader Longley's east to west run in Mosquito MM 250 along the five invasion beaches as he switches on his cameras again for the last leg running up to the top of the Cotentin's east coast...just 450 meters NW of the RAF fighter wreck we are so keen to see

Oh well, better to know than not to I suppose...
